Taking rough, raw materials to create something elegant & smooth: a nod to the terroir of West Texas.
This cocktail is reminiscent of a margarita with a whisper of prickly pear fruit and the slight spice of chili peppers.
Recipe
1.5 oz desert door sotol
0.5 oz cointreau
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
0.25 oz prickly pear puree
0.25 oz agave nectar

Muddle the jalapeno in a shaker tin.
Measure ingredients into the shaker.
Add ice & shake vigorously.
Strain over ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.

Named after the 1907 commissioned car lined with silver fittings that was known for its outstanding reliability, speed, and sublime looks. This cocktail is clarified from its original state via milk washing, a long process that provides elegance and complexity as the end result.
